WW - Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date Submariner, ref 16800, circa 1986, 42mm including crown guards x 48mm to lug tips, 20mm lug width, original stainless steel screw back Oyster case with knurled uni-directional dive bezel, stainless steel Oyster bracelet with tuna can style clasp and diver's extension, original black dial with applied white gold indices inset with tritium luminous material, date aperture at 3, 27J cal 3035, s#9360739, triple signed with signed clasp, bracelet ref 93150 with 580 end links, date code to clasp J12 for December of 1985, inside back ref 16800. Includes what is believed to be the original inner and outer boxes that came with the watch from the original jeweler. Unfortunately the paperwork is slightly off by serial number.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, light oxide on rotor, light fine scratches to plates; excellent dial with light surface spotting; fine hands with light lume cracking and discolored sweep hand; polished case shows light wear, light dings on backs of lugs and case sides, crack through insert next to the pearl; bracelet shows little wear, very light stretch, clasp is a much newer replacement dating to 2006; original signed crown shows light wear, several light dings to top, good threads; sapphire crystal with light edge chattering; resealed for auction.
